Prayers for a friend and his family

I want my blog to be real and relevant.

I’ll blog about injury law stuff because that’s what I do for work. I’ll also blog about other things I’m interested in like sports. From time to time, I’ll also deal with events in my life. As I said, I want this to be real and so I’ll deal with the highs and lows.

Today I blog about something very real.

A few hours ago I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear that Stephen Krause tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle crash in Peterboro, New Hampshire earlier this afternoon.

Three individuals in the other vehicle also lost their lives in the accident.

Steve was only 56. He leaves behind his wife Colleen, and their 4 children (Nick, Katie, Ali, and Kerry) and many other family members and friends.

As neighbors, our paths crossed over the years. Our children grew up together.

When I saw Steve he would ask how everyone in my family was doing– and he wanted to know what each was up to. That is one of my fondest memories of him– genuine concern for others.

Steve was a consummate gentleman. He was very well known, respected, and will be missed.

56 an athlete and vibrant taken down and out– needlessly;
56 and in the blink on an eye many lives were changed forever;
56 a big time family & community man is taken from us.

Unreal.

Times like this that remind us to do something critically important:
to tell the people we love, that we love them.

I ask you pray that Steve may rest in peace, for the repose of his soul, and for the peace and well-being of his family.

Those of us who knew him were blessed.

Thanks.
