Insurance company refusing to pay for property damage?

We see it all the time. The victim’s car or truck gets bashed, and the insurance company of the guy who caused the mess refuses to pay a fair amount. This can be very frustrating. The last thing you need to be doing is haggling with some insurance adjuster over a lousy offer, or if it can get away with using used parts to fix your vehicle. Your vehicle was just fine before the crash, but now they won’t give you enough money to get a decent replacement vehicle. And, to add insult to injury, none of this was your fault.

I get lots of clients who never even thought about making a claim for personal injuries until they were given such a run-a-round from an insurance company that they felt compelled to see a lawyer. Then for the first time they learn of their right to compensation for personal injuries.

I’ve often wondered how much money the insurance industry would have saved it was decent with people on the resolution of property damage claims.

Although I don’t handle cases where there is no personal injury, I’m always happy to give someone some free advice on any legal issue, to point them in the right direction.

Don’t let the insurance company push you around. You have rights. Use them. Put Donahue Law on your side. Although we at Donahue Law are located in Keene, N.H., we handle cases all over the Granite State of New Hampshire, and have connections with injury lawyers all over the country.
