All we hear about in the news these days is about frivolous lawsuits.

It’s as if every injury victim is making it up– nobody can be trusted, everybody is out to take advantage.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

But the insurance companies have a lot of money and it is to their advantage to poison the well, to get the public angry thinking that every injury victim is a money hungry cheat.

Pounding that theme with billions of dollars over the years has been effective.

But the truth is that a far bigger problem is frivolous defenses, where the insurance company and their lawyers perpetrate a fraud and deceit upon jurors.

Next time someone complains about frivolous lawsuits, ask them if they are aware of frivolous defenses which deprive good people of their lawful right to fair and reasonable compensation.
