Ever since 2006 Monadnock Shopper News, our region’s most widely read newspaper, has conducted a contest to see who people believe is the best of the best in many categories— it’s a reader’s choice award.

All votes cast are write-in ( on line these days) and the paper does not offer a list of nominees. Instead the readers take the time to enter the names of those they choose to honor.
