Here’s the bottom line, and we all know it: blogs are for bragging.

Why else do injury lawyers have a website and blog?

Sure, it all looks like news and an attempt to be objective, but that’s not it at all.

It’s about attracting clients and business.

There’s nothing wrong with that, but let’s be real.

Advertising is protected free speech— 1st Amendment stuff—- part of our Constitutional history.

So I brag, too.

Last week we settled a ton of cases.

I’m surprised the mailman wasn’t complaining about back injury carrying bags and bags of settlement checks for clients!

Pretty soon he’ll be stopping by as a client for a worker’s compensation claim.

Seriously, it’s a great feeling when a client gets compensation, sometimes setting them up for life.

It makes their lives easier and after all they’ve been through, they deserve it.

So I brag, too.

Then again false modesty is not any good.  It’s phony. It’s actually a problem with being self-centered because it’s a call for someone to say ” you are good”.

I don’t suffer from that affliction.

Let them settlement checks keep coming!
